[Weekends have been different since Kevin has been with Andrew and Neil and now that they're sharing the same bed, Andrew expects it to be even more different. Mainly, getting up has been harder, because Kevin never really wants to get his ass out of bed once he's in it, and this both amuses and frustrates Andrew- he's not entirely sure why. It's not like he cares if they make it to class or practice.

Andrew is always awake first, because he needs to be, but sometimes he thinks Neil wakes up before him and just waits for him to wake up before opening his eyes. It sounds like one of those stupid things Neil would do for him, to make him feel safer (and it works), but more often than not, Andrew is just too light of a sleeper to stay sleeping for too long.

This Saturday, he really is the first one awake, Neil sleeping next to him, curled into Kevin's side. Kevin is snoring softly (okay, maybe it's just heavy breathing but Andrew will swear on everything that it's snoring), his limbs sprawled out everywhere, one arm under Neil's neck, reaching out to almost touch Andrew's shoulder, the other above his head. One day, Kevin is going to end up on the floor, and Andrew won't feel bad about it. But today he seems firmly planted in bed and Andrew watches them sleep. He can do all the staring he wants and not get called out for it. It's images like these he wants to keep in his head so he has something to focus on when things get bad. He has something real to come back to, though he's not sure he deserves any of this at all.

It's when those thoughts start filtering in, that Neil stirs, turning from Kevin a bit and cracking his eyes open to look at Andrew. Neil gives him a small, sleepy smile when he sees that Andrew is awake, just like he always does and just like always, Andrew thinks it's horribly unfair and stupid that Neil could look this good as soon as he opens his eyes]

Morning.

[Neil says to him quietly after what what Andrew can tell is Neil quickly assessing to see if Andrew is in an okay place, if he had any nightmares or is unusually tense. Andrew doesn't return the greeting, but he reaches out and brushes his fingers through Neil's messy locks. Neil's smile grows wider and then he turns his head to look at Kevin again]

He snores.

[Andrew wants to make sure Neil knows that, and Neil laughs softly and shakes his head. ]

No he doesn't.

[Andrew lets out a soft huff, but tugs Neil forward and kisses him, because all these laughs and smiles so early in the morning, they're too good. Kevin's hand is between them, but Neil pulls it down a little so they can kiss easier, but he keeps his hand in Kevin's, curling his fingers around his]

[ Andrew is perfectly content kissing Neil without the worry of classes or practice looming and he is really not on board with this whole weekend alarm clock situation at all.

When Neil jumps, he jumps a bit too and he wants to reach over Neil and whack at Kevin. Kevin is lucky he leans away from them to silence the alarm. ]

It is whatever time you set your alarm for. What kind of monster sets an alarm on Saturday? We were in the middle of something.

[ Nel is not at all surprised that Andrew can go from kissing him to trying to hit Kevin and he's just glad there are no knives in this bed. ]

It's nine thirty.

[He informs Kevin, though he's with Andrew on this one- Kevin should know what time he set his alarm for! But he also knows that Kevin is useless first thing in the morning, or after any kind of sleep. It's endearing, most of the time.

The thing is, if Kevin wants to curl against them and nap while they kiss some more, he's definitely not going to stop him, but he will inform Kevin of what they were doing]

Morning makeouts. Much better than your alarm. Did you shut it off or hit snooze?

What store? I am not going to a store. '

[Something about phones, he remembers, but his phone works perfectly fine so he doesn't really care much about that right now. It's a good thing that Kevin shuts the alarm off though, because Andrew would probably attempt to hit at him again. ]

You will be fast asleep in thirty seconds anyway.

[If not already]

[Oh! That's when Neil remembers the store. He doesn't like going to the mall either, but he does want to get the phones. ]

Yeah, Andrew you wanna come pick out phones with us, don't you? Who knows what I'll end up getting if you don't help me pick one out.

[Which isn't completely true, but Andrew picked his phone out the first time, so he knows he might want some input this time, too.

He can feel Kevin falling asleep again at his shoulder and he gives Andrew a knowing smile. ]

Yeah, he's definitely falling back asleep.

[Andrew knows that he doesn't have to go to the mall if he doesn't want to, but Neil does have a good point. These two might be a mess without him. Plus, he wouldn't want to be without them anyway. It's only fun laying around here when there's a Neil and a Kevin to lay around with. ]

I am going to take a hundred videos of Kevin snoring and drooling.

[Which means he's in. So he sighs, then rubs at his eyes and sits up]

Wake him up. I am going to shower.

[1hundred]

[ The lack of protest has Neil laughing softly, because he know just how much Kevin would protest that if he was awake. And he knows he's probably going to have drool on the back of his shirt.

Andrew spares Kevin just this once and crawls off the end of the bed instead of over the two of them, grabbing his things so he can go shower, leaving Neil to deal with Kevin. Lucky for Kevin, Neil knows it, because Andrew would probably roll him right off the bed.

He turns so he can face Kevin, jostling him around a little. ]

Andrew went to shower so we can get up and go. He said he can't wait to take videos of you.

[1hundred]

[Neil wraps an arm around Kevin, moving his hand up and down his back, letting him burrow. The words will sink in, in a moment.

There it is.]

Of your snoring and drooling. Which seemed to be motivation enough for him.

[He can't help but smirk]

[1hundred]

Mhmm. I mean, maybe not the snoring part, but definitely the drooling.

[Kevin is definitely endearing like this, mainly because it's a side of him that not many people get to see. Sure, the Foxes and Coach have seen Kevin sleepwalk to the bus and zonk out before, but it's never quite like this. They've never had Kevin nuzzling into them like this. Makes the mornings so much better. He nuzzles into Kevin's hair and lets his eyes fall closed just a little bit]

Yeah, he's good with it. Did you sleep okay?

[1hundred]

Look, I'm trying to work on my honesty here. You don't want me to lie, do you?

[A low blow, maybe, but he chases it with a kiss to the head and a smile, so it's acceptable!

Kevin without his walls up is something Neil will never take for granted. It's a beautiful, wonderful thing that he knows is built on trust and that makes it even more important]

Yeah, I had a feeling. You didn't move all night.

[Neil is a light sleeper and he wakes up often, but it doesn't really bother him. He's been able to fall back asleep a lot easier with the two of them in his bed. He hasn't had a bad nightmare yet and he knows that won't be how it always is, but for now, this is the best sleep he's ever gotten]

I slept great. You're warm.

[1hundred]

[ Kevin slowly waking up is just as good as sleepy Kevin trying to get back to sleep, especially when it gets him a full body hug. ]

Yeah, you should have realized that long ago.

[They're softer more often now, at least in private, settling into themselves and each other. Neil will still fight as hard as he can when it comes to everything else, but he lets himself have this softness with his boys and he imagines Kevin does too. Maybe even Andrew.]

I'd just kick the covers off. Better than being cold, anyway.

[There were times when they had to sleep outside on the coldest of days and Neil could feel the cold seeping into his bones. He could never sleep during those times, he would be shivering too hard, even with his mother wrapped around him. It made him more tired, more careless and his mother wouldn't stand for that. He doesn't think being too warm would be such a bad thing]

You're lucky we're small. [He lets out a soft hum, his fingers tracing along Kevin's shoulders] I smell good? Like what, bed? Sleep?

[1hundred]

I think you can probably always count on a side of brattiness.

[It's definitely nice to be enveloped by one, especially when they're curled up in bed on the weekend. He'll take the body hugs and the nagging, he has no problem with that.

Neil surprises himself a lot of the time when it comes to his softness. He's never really been this way before, he could never afford to be, but maybe it was always there inside of him and now he has reasons to let it out. Reasons like Kevin and Andrew. If he can be soft, he's not surprised that Kevin and Andrew can be as well]

You say that like you don't already lay all over me.

[He grins, shifting just a bit so that Kevin is leaning against him some more]

Andrew has warned everyone away from our room. I think it only makes them more curious.

[He goes quiet at Kevin's response, because he can feel those other words behind them, even if Kevin doesn't say them out loud. He can feel it when Kevin buries his nose deeper into his neck, like this is where he's always wanted to be]

Guess that means I like smelling like the two of you, too.

[1hundred]

I don't even know, it just comes out at random times.

[If Kevin's face wasn't buried in his neck right now, he'd see a possibly bratty little smirk to go along with those words. Neil likes him a lot, Kevin doesn't have to have any doubts about that. A whole lot.

Neil, in fact, loves both of them and he knows they are capable of so much more than the world gets to see. Maybe the world will see it some day, or maybe it'll just be the three of them in their bubble, but there's always hoping. Hoping Kevin will get closer with his father, that he won't be haunted by his past. That Andrew will be able to feel more things and find some peace within himself and the world around him. That Andrew will reach his full potential when it comes to Exy and himself and they'll all be Court some day.

But Neil will love them no matter what happens. That is one of those truths in his life. ]

I know exactly what I'm buying into, Kevin. I'll take all of it.

[With everything, not just Kevin laying all over him. He's getting used to it now and he likes it]

He told them they were being too nosy about the bed and that they're acting like idiot children. I think he just wants to make sure that no one wanders in here and sees your bed replaced. Which. You know. Isn't a bad thing. [he raises an eyebrow] Yeah? Like... in what way?

[That... would definitely be something. Neil would wonder if Matt would talk to him about it at some point, or just go to Kevin. But it does seem like a nice thing that Matt would do. It would be a shame that Kevin would have to turn it down, because it could be a real bonding experience]

I never knew hoodies could be that great.

[1hundred]

I like to think so, yeah.

[Neil likes their bubble a lot. He knows they can't and shouldn't live in it constantly, but for now its a good, safe place to be and it's a necessary thing for them, even. He likes it even more now that Kevin is here in their bubble with them. He's sure it will get them to where they need to be a lot easier, because they all even each other out in one way or another.]

When you chew me out at practice, I know there's a good reason for it. I always have, even if it was really hard sometimes.

[He used to think Kevin hated him and that they'd never get along, but his realization about all of that changed even before they got together. On the court, he doesn't want anything to change. He wants Kevin to chew him out whenever necessary and he knows they won't bring their relationship into it. That's just part of the trust they have with each other, and the respect for the game. He's not sure about Andrew's end when it comes to that respect, but Neil knows he's been trying harder as well, even if just a little bit, even if it means something else, like picking out new recruits for the following year.

He smiles at Kevin, leaning in to kiss him lightly. He does see all of him and he wants him anyway. Nothing could change that.]

He knows what he's doing. Besides, they wouldn't cross him. [Even Nicky respects those boundaries, for the most part] Oh. Well... wow. I don't even know what to say to that. I guess he'll either talk to you about it or he'll just drop it, eventually.

[Neil thinks it's kind of nice, actually, but also kind of weird that the other would think they were fucking like bunnies over here, especially with Kevin around, since they don't know he's with them.]

I know. I was joking. My hoodie is definitely not as great as yours is.
