[Weekends have been different since Kevin has been with Andrew and Neil and now that they're sharing the same bed, Andrew expects it to be even more different. Mainly, getting up has been harder, because Kevin never really wants to get his ass out of bed once he's in it, and this both amuses and frustrates Andrew- he's not entirely sure why. It's not like he cares if they make it to class or practice.
Andrew is always awake first, because he needs to be, but sometimes he thinks Neil wakes up before him and just waits for him to wake up before opening his eyes. It sounds like one of those stupid things Neil would do for him, to make him feel safer (and it works), but more often than not, Andrew is just too light of a sleeper to stay sleeping for too long.
This Saturday, he really is the first one awake, Neil sleeping next to him, curled into Kevin's side. Kevin is snoring softly (okay, maybe it's just heavy breathing but Andrew will swear on everything that it's snoring), his limbs sprawled out everywhere, one arm under Neil's neck, reaching out to almost touch Andrew's shoulder, the other above his head. One day, Kevin is going to end up on the floor, and Andrew won't feel bad about it. But today he seems firmly planted in bed and Andrew watches them sleep. He can do all the staring he wants and not get called out for it. It's images like these he wants to keep in his head so he has something to focus on when things get bad. He has something real to come back to, though he's not sure he deserves any of this at all.
It's when those thoughts start filtering in, that Neil stirs, turning from Kevin a bit and cracking his eyes open to look at Andrew. Neil gives him a small, sleepy smile when he sees that Andrew is awake, just like he always does and just like always, Andrew thinks it's horribly unfair and stupid that Neil could look this good as soon as he opens his eyes]
Morning.
[Neil says to him quietly after what what Andrew can tell is Neil quickly assessing to see if Andrew is in an okay place, if he had any nightmares or is unusually tense. Andrew doesn't return the greeting, but he reaches out and brushes his fingers through Neil's messy locks. Neil's smile grows wider and then he turns his head to look at Kevin again]
He snores.
[Andrew wants to make sure Neil knows that, and Neil laughs softly and shakes his head. ]
No he doesn't.
[Andrew lets out a soft huff, but tugs Neil forward and kisses him, because all these laughs and smiles so early in the morning, they're too good. Kevin's hand is between them, but Neil pulls it down a little so they can kiss easier, but he keeps his hand in Kevin's, curling his fingers around his]

I would do it. I don't think Kevin's gonna go through all our pics. Better not delete the bunny one's though.
[He turns the phone over in his hands, wiping some stickiness off of it before holding it up to Kevin]
Is this one just as good as yours?
no subject
[Andrew stands there and rolls his eyes, then goes in search of the bigger one, even though Neil looks hesitant about it]
Piano black? Really?
no subject
[Why would they make phones so big? He doesn't get it. He hasn't looked at the price tag yet. Someone be there to catch him.]
And the other black one is like yours?
no subject
Water resistant is definitely good, too.]
It matches my car.
Get the better one.
no subject
You should have. He would have snatched that up a.... what? Holy shit... what? But it's just a phone!
[Catch him now, he saw the prices. He might be looking a little green.]
no subject
[ Andrew side eyes Neil when he starts flipping out, then taps his finger against the price tags. ]
This. It is ridiculous.
But it was your idea and you convinced me, so now we are getting them.
no subject
He looks at Andrew, because he's right. He did talk him into this, but going from his flip phone, he really didn't expect this price, okay?! ]
Take notes on them for class? I barely take regular notes, how am I supposed to take notes on this?
[His voice is slightly high pitched, but he's trying very hard not to cause a scene]
no subject
But Neil looks so shocked and Kevin looks like he's trying his best to talk some sense into him, but he could use some help. He could just let them deal with this- it was their idea anyway. Or he could try and help? He considers it.]
The flip phones we have now were good enough for what we needed last year. Now we are moving on and we need something better. It is better that we get used to them now, than when we graduate and can't communicate with each other properly.
You can get the smaller one if you want, but I am getting the one closer to what Kevin has. [He looks at Kevin] It's the newest one, yes? You can upgrade to the one we have later on.
no subject
He hates that a thought like that even crosses his mind. Luckily Andrew speaks up with his input. Neil looks at him, then over at the phones. He thinks about the photos and videos, he thinks about graduation. They're both right. ]
...Okay. I'll get the better one. Minyard Maserati black.
no subject
I will not be cleaning anything. Tell those people to do their job and get us our phones or I will touch every single one of these phones with my sticky fingers.
no subject
[That's about as much as he'll budge on the price. It's not like he's going to fill it up with games.
He shrugs.]
I want the same phone Andrew's gonna get. I can clean it.
no subject
We will be back to sign things. I will use my card. Neil can give me cash later, or whatever, I don't care.
[He waits for Kevin to let go of Neil's arm, then goes over to where the cases are to look through them]
no subject
he gets lost for a long moment before Andrew pokes at his cheek, then points to the cases and goes on about what is the point of getting a specific phone color if it's just going to get covered up anyway? Then picks out a case that looks like the phone itself. Slick black with rubber edges, because they both know that's probably a better option.
Neil looks over at Kevin when he comes over.]
They do? I'm definitely gonna get one of those. And this one.
[He slips the case that Andrew's holding off the hook and shows Kevin]
