[Weekends have been different since Kevin has been with Andrew and Neil and now that they're sharing the same bed, Andrew expects it to be even more different. Mainly, getting up has been harder, because Kevin never really wants to get his ass out of bed once he's in it, and this both amuses and frustrates Andrew- he's not entirely sure why. It's not like he cares if they make it to class or practice.
Andrew is always awake first, because he needs to be, but sometimes he thinks Neil wakes up before him and just waits for him to wake up before opening his eyes. It sounds like one of those stupid things Neil would do for him, to make him feel safer (and it works), but more often than not, Andrew is just too light of a sleeper to stay sleeping for too long.
This Saturday, he really is the first one awake, Neil sleeping next to him, curled into Kevin's side. Kevin is snoring softly (okay, maybe it's just heavy breathing but Andrew will swear on everything that it's snoring), his limbs sprawled out everywhere, one arm under Neil's neck, reaching out to almost touch Andrew's shoulder, the other above his head. One day, Kevin is going to end up on the floor, and Andrew won't feel bad about it. But today he seems firmly planted in bed and Andrew watches them sleep. He can do all the staring he wants and not get called out for it. It's images like these he wants to keep in his head so he has something to focus on when things get bad. He has something real to come back to, though he's not sure he deserves any of this at all.
It's when those thoughts start filtering in, that Neil stirs, turning from Kevin a bit and cracking his eyes open to look at Andrew. Neil gives him a small, sleepy smile when he sees that Andrew is awake, just like he always does and just like always, Andrew thinks it's horribly unfair and stupid that Neil could look this good as soon as he opens his eyes]
Morning.
[Neil says to him quietly after what what Andrew can tell is Neil quickly assessing to see if Andrew is in an okay place, if he had any nightmares or is unusually tense. Andrew doesn't return the greeting, but he reaches out and brushes his fingers through Neil's messy locks. Neil's smile grows wider and then he turns his head to look at Kevin again]
He snores.
[Andrew wants to make sure Neil knows that, and Neil laughs softly and shakes his head. ]
No he doesn't.
[Andrew lets out a soft huff, but tugs Neil forward and kisses him, because all these laughs and smiles so early in the morning, they're too good. Kevin's hand is between them, but Neil pulls it down a little so they can kiss easier, but he keeps his hand in Kevin's, curling his fingers around his]

[He twists in his seat so he can watch Neil and sort of see Kevin when he leans forward enough]
I will have a texting app and the camera app. Nothing else. Maybe some games.
[Definitely some games. He likes Candy Crush.]

[Neil smiles, amused as well]
I'll download the filter apps. There's a group chat? What do you even talk about?
[He remembers when they first started texting him and he couldn't figure out why they would still talk to each other so much outside of practice and living with each other 24/7. But he could possibly see the appeal now that he's less withdrawn from everyone]

Bunny ears?
[This is going to be bad. Neil in bunny ears and puppy ears. He can only imagine]
I want no part in this. Do not even tell them I have a phone.
no subject
Is it like the fox ears everyone wears around game time?
[He can't believe Nicky has never shown him any of this. Maybe it's a good thing, though. It sounds strange. The whole smartphone thing is just strange to him though, but he will definitely enjoy the pictures]
I guess I wouldn't mind if they added me.
Andrew, they are definitely going to notice a new phone, especially if I have one too.

Along with the group chat, Andrew is already done, before even having the phone. ]
This is the worst idea you have ever had, Kevin.
no subject
He won't be able to resist. [He says to Kevin, then looks back at the road, but still glances at Andrew again]
Plus, I bet you'd look good i bunny ears. I'm picturing it right now.
no subject
He raises a very slight eyebrow at Neil and then at Kevin]
Are you sure it isn't a challenge?
Ni bunny ears. You two can do whatever you want.
no subject
But after Championships is okay? I don't think so.
Kevin, I'm picturing you with bunny ears now too. Not so bad.
no subject
[He rolls his eyes when Kevin brings up death and Championships]
Of course you have to bring that into it. No wonder they gossip about you in the group chat.
[He looks at Kevin, tilting his head]
Do you have that app?
no subject
[Hardly any, Neil knows it. He just likes to talk about them]
Why do they talk about you when they know you're reading everything?
[Seems rude! Then again, he knows none of them really have all that much tact.
He pulls into the lot of the mall, searching for a good spot, shaking his head when Kevin hands his phone to Andrew]
Uh oh.
no subject
[His eyes dart back over to Kevin's hand in Neil's hair. He likes that a lot]
I would not care either. They don't know a single thing.
[He snags Kevin's phone and opens the app, checking it out. He tilts the screen so he can take a picture of Kevin and quickly figures out how to use the filters, putting bunny ears on Kevin. Once Neil parks the car, he holds the phone out in front of Neil's face to show him and Neil laughs one of those real good laughs that makes Andrew's skin tingle.
Definitely worth it.]
no subject
[He still doesn't think it will happen!
Neil will take Kevin's hand in his hair for as long as he can get, he likes every second of it.]
I would probably care. Just a little.
[he can't stop laughing. It's the funniest/cutest thing he's ever seen.]
Oh my god, Andrew. Show him! Kevin, you need a carrot.
[He's still laughing when Andrew pulls the phone back, saves the picture, then shows Kevin]
no subject
[He doubts their team would say the same things about Neil that they would say about Kevin and he doesn't like that they talk shit about Kevin either and wants to stab all of them for it from time to time. Even though he probably contributes every once in a while.
This, though, he wasn't doing to be mean or to show Kevin worse than what he's seen. He thinks it's very amusing and is glad that Neil is laughing.]
Maybe I will download that. Just to see you as a bunny every single day.
[He lets Kevin take the phone back and gets out of the car]
