[Weekends have been different since Kevin has been with Andrew and Neil and now that they're sharing the same bed, Andrew expects it to be even more different. Mainly, getting up has been harder, because Kevin never really wants to get his ass out of bed once he's in it, and this both amuses and frustrates Andrew- he's not entirely sure why. It's not like he cares if they make it to class or practice.
Andrew is always awake first, because he needs to be, but sometimes he thinks Neil wakes up before him and just waits for him to wake up before opening his eyes. It sounds like one of those stupid things Neil would do for him, to make him feel safer (and it works), but more often than not, Andrew is just too light of a sleeper to stay sleeping for too long.
This Saturday, he really is the first one awake, Neil sleeping next to him, curled into Kevin's side. Kevin is snoring softly (okay, maybe it's just heavy breathing but Andrew will swear on everything that it's snoring), his limbs sprawled out everywhere, one arm under Neil's neck, reaching out to almost touch Andrew's shoulder, the other above his head. One day, Kevin is going to end up on the floor, and Andrew won't feel bad about it. But today he seems firmly planted in bed and Andrew watches them sleep. He can do all the staring he wants and not get called out for it. It's images like these he wants to keep in his head so he has something to focus on when things get bad. He has something real to come back to, though he's not sure he deserves any of this at all.
It's when those thoughts start filtering in, that Neil stirs, turning from Kevin a bit and cracking his eyes open to look at Andrew. Neil gives him a small, sleepy smile when he sees that Andrew is awake, just like he always does and just like always, Andrew thinks it's horribly unfair and stupid that Neil could look this good as soon as he opens his eyes]
Morning.
[Neil says to him quietly after what what Andrew can tell is Neil quickly assessing to see if Andrew is in an okay place, if he had any nightmares or is unusually tense. Andrew doesn't return the greeting, but he reaches out and brushes his fingers through Neil's messy locks. Neil's smile grows wider and then he turns his head to look at Kevin again]
He snores.
[Andrew wants to make sure Neil knows that, and Neil laughs softly and shakes his head. ]
No he doesn't.
[Andrew lets out a soft huff, but tugs Neil forward and kisses him, because all these laughs and smiles so early in the morning, they're too good. Kevin's hand is between them, but Neil pulls it down a little so they can kiss easier, but he keeps his hand in Kevin's, curling his fingers around his]

i was going to throw them out the window, actually.
[He keeps his gaze on the two of them for as long as he can before he looks down at the photo]
I hate you both. I do not know why I put up with you.
no subject
[He can see it now. Andrew doing it just because. Kevin is right, though. Andrew makes a good cat. A very cute cat. He might even say adorable. But only in his head.
He can't stop grinning, especially when Andrew says he hates them. He knows what that means, Andrew!]
You can send us these when we have our phones set up, right?
[The salesperson checks over their paperwork, getting their attention so he can hand their phones over and complete the sale. He tells Kevin all the necessary things, because clearly the two midgets aren't in charge here and then he tells them to have a nice day. ]
no subject
But I still want that drink.
[He snags his phone, sticks his lollypop back in his mouth and heads for the exit. He hopes they're done,
because this salesperson has seen enough. Too much, maybe. He might have to die if they don't go right now.
He's in charge of leading them away from this nonsense. But he can't wait till he has those pictures on his phone. He will definitely be staring at them for a long time.]

with their phones in hand, they head out and Neil reads over all the things on the box, holding onto it tightly. ]
Do they have drinks places at the mall?
no subject
They will let me in with this. I would like to see them try and keep me out of their restaurants. I do not even need my knives, I will just stab them with this.
[Lucky for Kevin, Andrew knows where both of those places are, but he turns toward the Cheesecake Factory because clearly that's better. They have good naming skills]
While we are there we can set up our phones?
no subject
[He laughs softly, looking at Andrew, who won't deny that one bit.
Andrew definitely seems way more into this phone thing now too, so that's good. And he feels less bad about the pricetag and the fanciness of it. His Exy racket and his phone are the most expensive things that he owns. One to connect him to Exy and one to connect him to his boyfriends. He's good with that.]
I'm guessing we're going to Cheesecake Factory.
[Yup, he knows you, Andrew. Get used to it]
no subject
[He's kind of done with this lolly though- he's getting bored of it, but he'll hold out as long as he can. He can dump it before they go inside.
Andrew never had money growing up, but now that he does, he'll do with it what he wants. He has enough to get what he needs, what he wants and not have to worry about it. The cars were a big 'fuck you' and these phones are something better than that, so he's fine with it]
It's the best of both options.
[He is going to have to watch Andrew do exactly that, probably for the rest of his life]
no subject
[he bumps Kevin a little, following along. Now he's excited to set the phone up and take pictures, check out the group chat, do things like normally people do]
Good thing these are water resistant, right? That probably applies to vodka, too.
no subject
[ Good incentive to not get arrested, at least.
Can they get more normal than this? Andrew doubts they'll ever get to, but that's fine with him, at least things are not boring. Whatever this is, it's better than he ever thought things could be. ]
You are the only one who sloshes drinks around. You be careful.
[He leads them right to Cheesecake factory, biting off as much of his lolly as he can manage to fit in his mouth, then tosses the rest of it and walks up to the greeter, holding up three fingers]
no subject
[Try and pry this phone away from him now!
Neil agrees. This is absolutely better. He wouldn't trade this for anything]
Even if they're water resistant we should try not to get anything on them. Probably the best bet.
[Even Neil winces when Andrew does that, but Andrew doesn't seem to care at all as he waltzes in after the server and they get seated]
no subject
[Do either of them even think he was thinking about his teeth? No. When he gets a cavity he'll be crying on the inside, though. He probably has a few already that he's trying to ignore.
He slides in on the other side of the booth and shoves the menu aside in favor of his new phone, looking it over. He likes it]
What do we do with our old phones?
no subject
[ Neil slides in next to Andrew, also looking at his phone box. He's nervous to open it up just yet and then he feels silly about that, so he does it anyway. ]
Forward calls? We can't just switch over to this one?
[He takes the phone out and weighs it in his hand, turning it over. It's a lot to get used to, compared to a flip phone!]
I don't even know where to begin.
no subject
[That's all he needs to know, really. He calls Neil, though! He calls him sometimes. Wymack calls them!
He presses the button to turn it on, looking over to see if Neil did it too. When they both turn on, Andrew kicks lightly at Kevin's legs under the table]
This is easier than setting up the bed.
