[Weekends have been different since Kevin has been with Andrew and Neil and now that they're sharing the same bed, Andrew expects it to be even more different. Mainly, getting up has been harder, because Kevin never really wants to get his ass out of bed once he's in it, and this both amuses and frustrates Andrew- he's not entirely sure why. It's not like he cares if they make it to class or practice.

Andrew is always awake first, because he needs to be, but sometimes he thinks Neil wakes up before him and just waits for him to wake up before opening his eyes. It sounds like one of those stupid things Neil would do for him, to make him feel safer (and it works), but more often than not, Andrew is just too light of a sleeper to stay sleeping for too long.

This Saturday, he really is the first one awake, Neil sleeping next to him, curled into Kevin's side. Kevin is snoring softly (okay, maybe it's just heavy breathing but Andrew will swear on everything that it's snoring), his limbs sprawled out everywhere, one arm under Neil's neck, reaching out to almost touch Andrew's shoulder, the other above his head. One day, Kevin is going to end up on the floor, and Andrew won't feel bad about it. But today he seems firmly planted in bed and Andrew watches them sleep. He can do all the staring he wants and not get called out for it. It's images like these he wants to keep in his head so he has something to focus on when things get bad. He has something real to come back to, though he's not sure he deserves any of this at all.

It's when those thoughts start filtering in, that Neil stirs, turning from Kevin a bit and cracking his eyes open to look at Andrew. Neil gives him a small, sleepy smile when he sees that Andrew is awake, just like he always does and just like always, Andrew thinks it's horribly unfair and stupid that Neil could look this good as soon as he opens his eyes]

Morning.

[Neil says to him quietly after what what Andrew can tell is Neil quickly assessing to see if Andrew is in an okay place, if he had any nightmares or is unusually tense. Andrew doesn't return the greeting, but he reaches out and brushes his fingers through Neil's messy locks. Neil's smile grows wider and then he turns his head to look at Kevin again]

He snores.

[Andrew wants to make sure Neil knows that, and Neil laughs softly and shakes his head. ]

No he doesn't.

[Andrew lets out a soft huff, but tugs Neil forward and kisses him, because all these laughs and smiles so early in the morning, they're too good. Kevin's hand is between them, but Neil pulls it down a little so they can kiss easier, but he keeps his hand in Kevin's, curling his fingers around his]

[Neil chuckles when that goes right over Kevin's head, but he leaves it alone. He's not here to poke at Kevin]

How about we don't push that one, just in case, hm? There'll be plenty of other things we can take videos of.

Look, there's the Waffle House. Don't miss the exit.

[ Andrew was thinking along the lines of when Kevin first got here and thought he was the champion. He didn't come up with The Great Kevin Day all by himself. ]

You can't imagine there being anything else? Then I guess drool videos are all I will be taking. Blame Kevin.

[He takes a sharp turn into the lot of Waffle House, parking in front where they can keep an eye on it]

[What it means and represents is a joke. One that has already passed. ]

Probably not, but now you've turned it into a thing, so now we're gonna try and capture every moment of it.

[He gets out, following after Andrew, waiting for him to pick out where he wants to sit. There's an empty booth by the window so they head that way]

I would compromise a lot of things for incriminating videos of you, Kevin.

[He's probably not kidding either.

He picks up a menu and looks it over, turning to the side with the desserts first. He has to check them out, even if he's not getting any of them for breakfast, then looks at the rest. ]

They have a hash brown bowl with everything in it.

Considering how deep you sleep, this wouldn't even be a hard thing.

[Neil looks over at Andrew's menu so he can see this great big hashbrown bowl ]

Well that looks like it would fill you up for the entire day. It does include bacon.

Different ways to wake Kevin up. That would be a good series.

[Andrew tilts his head, considering it for a moment, then looks elsewhere on the menu]

Chocolate chip waffles. With strawberries.

I'm sure you'd sleep right through trying to be woken up anyway.

[Neil laughs, nudging Kevin's foot under the table]

I'm getting eggs and hashbrowns cause now the hashbrowns sound good. And side of fruit.

[Since Andrew is actually getting strawberries! Solidarity and all]

Not if it was for a video series. Then we would be at Cinnabon.

[Andrew furrows his eyebrows, looking down at his menu again]

I also want hash browns.

Cinnabon would probably be worse. But we'd bring you back something.

[He's still teasing. He can only imagine Kevin's horrified face when seeing all that gloppy icing]

Never underestimate Andrew at a food court.

So if you knew you would miss this you would get right up?

[Andrew raises a very slight eyebrow and Kevin is lucky the waitress comes over cause he would really get into it about food court food.

Andrew rattles off all their orders to the waitress, but lets the handle their own drinks. He orders orange juice]

And there's the rub.

[Neil is extra smirky this morning]

We'd never leave you behind, don't worry.

Kevin, right in front of our food.

[Good thing he's not having a salad]

Not even if we had to toss you over our shoulders.

[Neil doesn't get it! He just doesn't get it! But he's never seen Kevin choking and sputtering and laughing like that, so it's all worth it. ]

I think I missed something here.

[and then he's laughing too cause he's imagining them hauling Kevin over their shoulder and carrying him to breakfast. They totally could.]
